Steam combination, pyrolytic cleaning and probe cooking

Miele oven lines include pure steam, combi-steam and conventional heat, with optional pyrolytic cleaning. Steam functions are used for reheating bread and vegetables. Combi modes suit fish and poultry without a second appliance. Pyrolytic cycles need surrounding cabinetry rated for short high-temperature exposure. Probe cooking needs a cable route through the cabinet side that stays accessible if the probe is replaced.

• Steam ovens need descaling based on local water hardness
• Pyrolytic cycles scheduled when ventilation can run at high speed
• Combi modes compared with a separate microwave
• Probe ports aligned with the shelf positions you use most
