Luxaflex and Weinor zip screens, rollers and venetians for bifolds, extensions and sun-facing façades. Measured and installed by our Lymington team across Hampshire and Dorset.
Luxaflex leads on external screens and venetians. Weinor VertiTex zip systems cover large vertical openings and are often specified alongside patio awnings on the same project.
Motorised aluminium slats outside the glass let you balance shade, daylight and privacy without losing the elevation. Cable-guided or side-channel systems for bedrooms, street-facing windows and home offices.
Best for: Bedrooms, offices and privacy without blackout
A guided external roller with a visible head box and side rails. Luxaflex RS Classic filters glare and UV while preserving outward view through screen cloth, which is more effective than internal fabric on south-facing glass.
Best for: Hard-to-cool rooms, verandas and townhouses
Fabric held in side channels for a gap-free drop. Weinor VertiTex II Zip and Luxaflex RS Smart suit large openings, bifolds and exposed elevations where a loose-hanging cloth would not be stable enough.
Best for: Bifolds, glazed extensions and sun-facing façades

External blinds are technical products. We handle bracket positions, exposure and motor routes so the finished installation matches what was agreed at survey.
We handle installation from here.
Fabric samples and slat options chosen against your actual glass and orientation.
Enough to compare zip screen, roller or venetian routes and talk through fabric openness, colour and control without guessing.
Bracket positions, wind exposure, head-box colour against the façade and motor power are confirmed before anything is ordered.
Frame finish, cloth or slat colour and motor specification are built around the agreed dimensions rather than adapted from stock sizes.
We fit brackets, complete wiring where required, set travel limits and leave you with a properly finished installation and fixed quotation.
For solar gain through glass, yes. External systems block sunlight before it passes the pane, which is why they suit south-facing extensions and bifolds where internal fabric still leaves the room hot.
Zip screens hold the fabric in side channels for a taut, gap-free drop, which suits exposed sites and large openings. Classic guided rollers use side rails with a more visible head box. Both stop heat at the glass.
It depends on the cloth or slat. Screen fabrics with openness factors filter glare while keeping a view; venetians tilt for a balance of light and privacy. We bring samples to compare against your actual glass.
No. A phone photo or rough width is enough to start. Exact millimetre measurements are taken during your complimentary site survey.
Yes. Motorisation is standard on many vertical screen systems. Sun and wind sensors can close on strong light and retract when gusts pick up, which helps on coastal and New Forest plots.
Products are bespoke made to order. Lead time is confirmed after your site survey and specification, typically several weeks from sign-off to installation.
Visit the showroom to discuss cloth openness and motor options, or send a message with your postcode, a photo of the elevation or rough opening sizes.
Include a postcode, photo of the elevation or rough opening sizes and we will reply with the most sensible next step.
