Before you choose a model

Most projects come down to three practical decisions

Shade where you actually sit

Plan the projection around dining, lounging, or glare control at bifolds rather than buying a generic width.

Specify the fixing before the fabric

Brick, render, timber and extension details matter early. We survey the wall, not just the awning.

Choose a system that suits the site

Tighter cassettes for clean elevations, pergolas for bigger spans, screens where solar gain is the real issue.

System selection

Four routes, depending on the house and the way you want to use the space

We still show the full range, but in a tighter format that helps you compare what each system is really for.

Full cassette patio awning extended over garden terrace

Cleanest elevation

Full-Cassette Awnings

Practical information

Frequently asked questions

Do I need exact measurements before visiting the showroom?

No. A rough width estimate or a simple photo on your phone is plenty to start. Our technician takes exact millimetre measurements during your complimentary site survey.

Can I see working motorised awnings on display?

Yes. Our Lymington showroom features full-scale working motorized demonstration units, cassette finish options, and fabric swatch books.

How do your awnings handle wind and coastal weather?

Our Weinor and Luxaflex systems are tested for Wind Resistance Class 2 (fresh breezes). Automated wind sensors can also be fitted to retract arms automatically if high gusts occur.

Who carries out the installation?

Installation is carried out by our own trained fitting team. We install structural wall brackets, complete electrical wiring, and test controls before leaving.

What frame finishes and fabric colors are available?

We offer over 300 solution-dyed acrylic fabrics designed for UV resistance and 47 standard powder-coated cassette frame colors.

How long does custom manufacturing take?

Once your home site survey is complete and specifications confirmed, custom manufacturing and delivery typically takes 3 to 4 weeks.

Do you sell freestanding pergolas as well as fitted awnings?

Yes. Wall-mounted and pergola awning systems are measured, supplied and fitted through the showroom. Freestanding Royalcraft pergolas are also available to order online for UK delivery if you prefer a structure you can buy without a site survey.
