Listed buildings and designated areas, including parts of the New Forest National Park, can have tighter controls. Confirm with your local planning authority before ordering. Electric heaters need a dedicated circuit from your consumer unit to the cabin, installed by a qualified electrician. Compact cabins with a 3.5 to 5 kW heater typically need a 16 to 20 A circuit; larger cabins with a 7 to 9 kW heater typically need a 32 to 40 A circuit.
