Royalcraft Pure and Luxe freestanding louvred pergolas are rain-resistant, not fully waterproof. Closed louvres shed light to moderate rain through channels in the frame and posts. In heavy or prolonged rain, a little water can appear at the joins. That is normal for a ventilated aluminium roof, not a sealed conservatory.
When you close the louvres on a Royalcraft Pure or Luxe pergola, water runs along the blades into channels in the frame and down the posts. That protects seating in light to moderate rain. It is not a watertight conservatory.

On Pure models the split manual roof can open each side independently, so one side can stay closed for shelter while the other lets sun through. Luxe models use a double-layer louvred roof you tilt or close as a whole. In both ranges, closed blades form a sloping surface. Rainwater is channelled into the frame and exits via the legs, away from the centre of the footprint. In storms or long downpours, expect a little water at the joins. That design keeps the louvres free to move year-round.

Pure suits a compact aluminium outdoor room with a split roof and solar LED that switches between warm and cool light. Assembled Pure footprints sit just under the named size (about 2.94m square on the 3 x 3m model).

Luxe has a heavier-duty frame, double-layer louvres, solar LED and voice control. In rain it works the same way as Pure: close the louvres for light to moderate rain. Joins are not sealed like a conservatory.

No. They are rain-resistant. Closed louvres shed light to moderate rain through drainage in the frame and posts. In heavy or prolonged rain a little water may enter at the joins. That is expected for a ventilated aluminium louvred roof, not a sealed conservatory.
In light to moderate showers, water runs along the louvres into the channels and down the legs. Place seating toward the centre of the footprint and keep drainage channels clear. Do not treat the roof as indoor dry storage.
Both ranges use the same approach: close the louvres and use the integrated drainage. Pure has a split manual roof so each side can open independently. Luxe has double-layer louvres with solar LED and voice control, in 3 x 3m, 4 x 3m and 6 x 3m sizes.
Order a Royalcraft Pure or Luxe pergola online when you want a freestanding outdoor room without a wall survey. Choose a fitted Weinor awning from Crestwood of Lymington when shade should fix to the house and needs a measured install.
