Glass, ceramic tile, quartz and stainless splashbacks specified behind hobs and sinks. We set height, socket cut-outs and extractor alignment from the Lymington showroom.
Glass splashbacks give a continuous colour with few joints, but socket cut-outs are factory-made and cannot be trimmed on site. Porcelain tiles suit patterned layouts and can be replaced tile by tile if damaged. Quartz upstands from the same slab as the worktop reduce joints beside sinks. Stainless suits hob runs but shows fingerprints and needs compatible cleaners.
Splashbacks are measured once worktops and socket faceplates are final. Glass panels cannot be field-trimmed like tile. Tiling can proceed in phases but needs protection during later appliance installs. Paint edges and silicone joints are colour-matched as part of the fitting sequence.
Bring worktop and door samples to the showroom to view splashback options.
