Oils, lacquers, stone impregnators and carpet stain-guards specified for the floor type and how the room is used. Advice from the Lymington showroom for New Forest homes.
Oiled timber needs periodic replenishing but repairs locally. Lacquer is harder but harder to patch. Stone impregnators reduce staining without changing appearance. Carpet stain-guards add protection in dining zones.
We schedule sealing after installation dust has settled and before furniture returns. Several thin coats are used rather than one heavy coat that stays tacky.
We will suggest suitable treatments and when they should be applied.
