Doors hung, latched and aligned to finished floor level. Ironmongery fitted after paint where possible. Installation across Hampshire.
Doors usually hang after plaster and often after first-coat paint. Floor finish thickness is confirmed before bottom gaps are set. Handles are fitted once paint is cured to avoid scratching. Fire doors follow the manufacturer fitting instructions.
Late floor changes can catch door bottoms, so final sand or tile height must be confirmed. Architrave returns are completed before final handle fit on some styles. Existing frames in renovation may need packers rather than replacement.
We will align hanging with your decorator and flooring trades.
