Bathroom design documents show WC, basin, bath or shower positions with clearances for doors and towels. Fixture schedules list pan types, basin widths, valve models and accessory finishes. Tile layouts centre focal walls and reduce awkward cuts at visible edges.

First fix, waterproofing, tiles and second fix

Plumbers set pipework and valve bodies before boarding and tanking close the walls. Waterproofing completes before floor and wall tiles. Tilers finish wet areas before second-fix plumbers fit pans, basins and showers. Electricians connect fans, mirrors and towel rails after finishes are protected.

Floor build-up heights checked at door thresholds
Glass screens measured after tiles are complete
Silicone colour matched to grout on wet joints
Pressure tests before closing concealed valves
