Accurate width and drop measurements keep curtains clearing radiators, skirting and window sills. Follow this checklist before you order fabric or book a survey.
Measure the track or pole width, not the glass. For drop, decide whether curtains sit to the sill, below the sill or to the floor - then measure from the fixing point to that line. Note stack-back space so open curtains clear the window. For bay windows, measure each section separately.

Use this guide to get a clear sense of sizes before you visit. When you are ready to go ahead, Crestwood of Lymington will visit, take exact measurements, confirm heading and lining, then make and hang the curtains. You do not need perfect DIY sizes before you speak to us.
Bring your notes to the showroom to choose fabric, or book a visit so we measure and take the order through to fitting.
