Upholstered and wooden headboards sized to mattress width. Choose strut-fitting for a divan or wall-fixing into masonry or studs. Heights are checked against picture rails and ceilings in the Lymington showroom.
Headboards can match mattress width or extend about 100 mm each side. Height stops below picture rails in period rooms, or rises towards the ceiling where there is space. Strutted headboards slot into divan bases. Wall-fixed panels need sound fixings into masonry or studs.
Performance fabrics mark less from hair oils and pets than delicate weaves. Coastal rooms with open windows suit cloths that tolerate salt air. Wooden headboards need compatible cleaners. Oiled finishes may need periodic refresh.
We will propose heights, fabrics and fixing methods that suit the wall.
