Doors made to measured openings when stock sizes will not fit. We template height, width and head, then set panel layout to the opening.
Made-to-measure doors fill openings that standard sizes cannot. We template uneven floors and heads, and note whether linings need packing. Panel proportions are drawn to the opening, including taller doors in village houses around the New Forest.
Made-to-measure doors take longer than stock sizes. Very heavy doors need hinge ratings checked. Widening an opening is builder or engineer work, not included here. Paint-finish samples are approved before workshop spray where specified.
